Portion
Remember how much was enough last time.
Portion is a private meal-amount memory built for one practical question: how much of this specific food felt just right for me? It puts your own useful history first without calories, nutrition scores, or AI guesses.

The app, as it is.
The current version 1.1 App Store set, made from real app captures using fictional meal data rather than personal records.

What Portion does
A small record-and-recall loop that makes your own meal history useful at the moment of deciding.
- Record what was ordered or served, what was eaten, and whether it felt Too little, Just right, or Too much.
- Add optional appetite context and a short note when they may explain a different result.
- See a usual amount or range only after compatible history supports it.
- Keep sparse or mixed results honestly labeled instead of turning them into a false recommendation.
- Save an order before eating, then finish it later with an optional one-time local reminder.
- Search, review, edit, or delete local meal history, with four Bowl Glazes and seven app icons included.
Who it is for
Portion is for someone deciding how much of a familiar food to order or serve who wants to recall what worked without reconstructing the answer from a general meal log.
It is not a calorie counter, diet plan, nutrition dashboard, food database, or source of medical advice.
Privacy
Meal history stays with the app.
Foods, amounts, appetite context, notes, and settings remain in Portion’s local app container. Portion has no account, custom backend, built-in cloud sync, advertising, or analytics SDK.
The paid download is handled by Apple. Portion receives no card details or purchase information and has no in-app purchase, restore, premium gate, or subscription surface.
Honest boundary
Portion describes what your own history has tended to show. It does not claim an objectively correct amount, prescribe how to eat, or provide medical or nutrition advice.
