Where is my water log stored?

Carafe stores your water entries, vessels, target, preferences, and reminder settings locally on your device. It does not send your water log to a Carafe server.

Do I need an account?

No. Carafe does not require an account, login, profile, or cloud-sync service.

How do I log water?

On Today, tap a quick action for a familiar vessel. In My Cupboard, choose a saved vessel and log a full, half, or sip amount.

How do I correct a pour?

Open History, choose the day and entry, then correct its amount or time. You can also remove an entry that should not be part of the day.

How do reminders work?

Reminders are optional. Carafe asks for notification permission only after you turn reminders on and schedules them locally on your device.

Why is the widget not current?

Open Carafe to refresh the shared local widget snapshot. If needed, remove and add the widget again from the Home Screen widget gallery.

Is Carafe medical advice?

No. Carafe is a general wellness utility for recording water. It does not diagnose, treat, monitor a disease, or provide a medically correct hydration target.

Privacy and contact

Carafe is intentionally narrow: local water logging, saved vessels, simple history, optional reminders, and a Home Screen widget. For a question not covered here, use the contact page or email support.
