Submit support

Submit privacy policy

Effective September 7, 2026. Submit prepares images locally. Your selected images are not sent to Jeromy Mobley or a Submit server.

Your images

Submit processes images on your device using Apple frameworks. It works from private copies of images you explicitly select in Photos, Files, or a compatible share sheet. Submit does not upload your images to a developer server, and it does not modify your originals.

Temporary files and shared images

Selected images and prepared outputs are temporary working files. Submit removes them when you clear them, replaces the working session, or cleans up after a subsequent launch. An interrupted session can leave copies until cleanup. Images sent through the share extension wait in a private App Group inbox until the app imports them; failed partial handoffs are cleaned up. In Submit 1.0 (3) and later, this temporary inbox is excluded from device backup.

Presets and history

Saved presets contain names and image requirements. History contains source filenames and lightweight result facts such as date, status, format, dimensions, and byte count. Neither store contains image bytes or source file locations. History retains up to 100 records; the free view shows ten. These local records may be included in an Apple-managed device backup according to your settings. Submit does not operate cloud sync or access your backups.

Permissions and export

The system Photos picker shares only the items you choose. Submit requests add-only Photos permission only when you choose to save a verified image to Photos. You can instead save to Files or share the file. You control the export destination; its app or service handles that copy under its own policies. A Photos or Files provider may download cloud-backed content through Apple or the provider.

Purchases

Optional Lifetime Plus is a non-consumable purchase handled by Apple. Submit checks verified StoreKit transactions on your device to determine access and supports Restore Purchases. Submit does not receive your payment card details and does not send transaction records to a developer server. Apple manages its own purchase and account information.

No developer tracking

The Submit app has no account system, advertising, analytics SDK, tracking identifier, or developer-operated backend. Apple may provide app usage, sales, or diagnostic reports according to its services and your device settings. Submit does not add a separate reporting system.

Deleting data

Remove selected images or use Settings > Clear temporary prepared files to clear the current work. Delete saved presets in Presets. Delete individual history entries or use Settings > History > Clear to remove job records. Deleting the app removes its local data and shared inbox when iOS removes its containers. Copies you exported and device backups are managed separately in their destination or Apple settings. Refunding Plus does not delete your presets or history.

Support and this website

If you email support, the details you choose to send are used to respond and resolve the request. Avoid sending private images; a description of the requirements and error is usually enough. Support messages are retained as needed to handle the request; you may request deletion by email. This website is separate from the Submit app and may use Vercel or Cloudflare web analytics and hosting logs to understand page traffic and operate the site. Visiting a support link opens your browser; the app does not send your images or job history with it.
