Where are my notes stored?

Free NoteGrove stores your notes on your device. NoteGrove Plus can use private iCloud sync through your Apple ID when iCloud is available.

Do I need an account?

No. NoteGrove does not require a NoteGrove account, login, public profile, or social feed.

How do I restore NoteGrove Plus?

Open NoteGrove, go to Settings, open NoteGrove Plus, then tap Restore Purchases. Apple handles the purchase and restore process.

How do I back up my notes?

Open Settings, then Backup & Restore. Export creates a local archive. Restore imports the archive as new gardens and does not delete your existing data.

Why is iCloud sync not active?

Private iCloud sync requires NoteGrove Plus and an iCloud account available on the device. If iCloud is unavailable, capture remains available with local storage.

Do attachments sync through iCloud?

Attachment files stay on the device for now. Attachment metadata can appear in synced app data, so do not rely on iCloud sync as an attachment backup.

How do I erase local data?

Open Settings, then Privacy & Data. Use Erase Data on This Device to remove local NoteGrove data from that device.
