FocusBurrow support

FocusBurrow privacy policy

Your intentions and reflections belong to you.

Last updated September 12, 2026. Applies to FocusBurrow 1.0, developed by Jeromy Mobley.

Your journal stays local

FocusBurrow stores intentions, session dates and durations, optional feelings, and reflections in its local app storage. Preferences, such as your last duration and comfort settings, are also stored locally. The app does not send these records to Jeromy Mobley or a developer-operated server.

No account or tracking

The FocusBurrow app has no account, advertising, analytics SDK, tracking identifier, purchases, or developer-operated backend. Apple may provide app usage or diagnostic reports according to its services and your device settings. FocusBurrow does not add a separate reporting service.

Notifications and Live Activities

If you allow notifications, FocusBurrow schedules a local completion notification through the operating system. Its text is generic and does not contain your intention or reflection. Optional Live Activities share a session identifier and timing information with the system to show a countdown on supported surfaces. They do not contain your intention or reflection and do not use a remote push server. You can control these features in Comfort and your device’s Settings.

Backups and retention

Journal records remain in local storage until the app data is removed. Apple-managed device backups may include this storage according to your settings. FocusBurrow does not operate cloud sync and cannot access or recover your device backups.

Deleting data

FocusBurrow 1.0 does not provide individual journal-entry deletion or export. Deleting the app removes local records and preferences when the operating system removes its app container. Offloading an app may preserve its data. Device backups are managed separately in Apple settings.

Support email

If you contact hello@jeromymobley.com, the information you choose to send is used to respond and resolve your request. A description of the problem is usually enough; please do not send private journal content. Support correspondence is kept as needed to handle the request, and you may request deletion by email.

This website

This support website is separate from the FocusBurrow app. Website hosting and web analytics services may process requests and website usage information. That does not give the website access to your FocusBurrow journal.

Changes and contact

This policy may be updated when the app’s behavior changes. The date below identifies this version. For questions about FocusBurrow privacy, email hello@jeromymobley.com.
