Last updated September 14, 2026. This policy covers the free version 1.3 candidate and identifies purchase behavior in earlier versions. Apple Health access remains optional and read-only.
Depthline has no account or server for your readings, does not run ads or tracking, and never writes to Apple Health. Health import is optional and manual logging remains available without it. Version 1.3 has no purchases.
Depthline stores manual readings, imported Health readings, unit preferences, target settings, selected vessel style, and other app state on your device. A derived trend snapshot may also be shared locally with Depthline widgets through Apple app-group storage.
Depthline can read your complete approved body-weight history from Apple Health only after you grant permission. Later refreshes synchronize approved additions and deletions. Health access is optional and read-only. Depthline never writes body-weight readings to Apple Health.
If you decline or cannot use Apple Health, manual logging remains available. App-entered readings stay in Depthline and are not saved to Apple Health.
Depthline does not require a Depthline account and does not send your weight readings, targets, or trend history to a developer-operated server.
Version 1.3 removes all purchases and includes every feature. It does not contact StoreKit for prices, transactions or entitlement checks. Existing purchasers keep their functionality.
Version 1.2 uses Apple StoreKit for the previous optional Plus purchase and restoration. Apple retains transaction history; Depthline never receives payment-card details. Version 1.3 leaves any old local purchase preference untouched and does not use it to restrict access.
Depthline can export readings as CSV. Export is initiated by you through the iOS share sheet, where you choose what happens to the file.
Depthline does not use ads, third-party analytics, cross-app tracking, or social sharing.
